With the recent news about Influenza A (H1N1), or Swine Flu, we understand that you may have questions concerning ACIS/Travel & Company and its reaction. The safety of Travel & Company participants is our paramount concern. To this end, we will always follow the recommendations of the U.S. Department of State regarding overseas travel. We receive daily updates and rely on government guidelines to help us make decisions concerning the safety of our travelers. For the latest expert advice on this situation, you can visit the website of the U.S. State Department, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has also just released a statement regarding the state of air travel in light of this outbreak, which offers useful information as well.

ACIS/Travel & Company stands ready to respond to any situation that might pose a threat to our participants. We have a 24-hour Duty Officer operating seven days a week in the United States and overseas to deal with any emergency quickly and professionally. Through being in constant contact with our offices in the United States and overseas, we can make pro-active decisions that will ensure the maintenance of optimal safety conditions for our travelers. In addition, we are committed to making information about international travel developments available to you immediately.
Safety First Abroad
ACIS/Travel & Company maintains affiliate partner offices in many Central American and European cities, along with our own offices in London, Paris, Madrid and Rome. When your group arrives overseas you will be met and accompanied by a professionally-trained ACIS/Travel & Company Tour Manager with continual access to our comprehensive support network. All ACIS/Travel & Company Tour Managers carry a cellular phone and have access to our 24-hour Duty Officer.
