Traveling abroad with Travel & Company will require the ability to walk distances, navigate stairs and transport luggage. Travelers should anticipate encountering natural and architectural barriers outside the U.S. which Travel & Company cannot and does not control. Special meals and/or medical supervision cannot be provided.

Prescriptions

If you require prescription medication, you must take an adequate supply with you and know how to administer the dosage. Carry all prescription drugs in their original containers that show the prescription details; do not bring pill boxes. Carry instructions for any emergency, written by your physician. Do not rely on refrigeration abroad for medication. Please make sure that your group leader has a list of your medications.

Glasses and Contacts

If you wear glasses or contact lenses, bring an extra pair, as well as your lens prescription. Be sure to bring enough contact lens solution.

Special Medical Treatment

If you have Diabetes, are allergic to penicillin, or have any other physical condition that could require emergency care, it is your responsibility to advise your group leader before departure. Neither your group leader nor Travel & Company can assume responsibility for obtaining special medical supervision or care.

Immunizations

Requirements change constantly. You should consult your physician for recommendations.

Medical Care on the Trip

Your Registration Fee includes Basic Protection Plan coverage. You also have the option to purchase Ultimate or Comprehensive Protection Plan coverage.

If you should require medical care, your group leader is responsible for seeing that you obtain it. Your tour manager provides backup assistance to your group leader, particularly in an emergency situation.
